Jennie Marie (Gama) Diaz was born November 13, 1933 to Jose and Josephine Gama. She was called to be with the Lord on December 3, 2022. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Mariano, Trinidad, Carlos, Leobrado, Inocencio, Roger, Patrick and sister Mary. Jennie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved to cook and feed everyone that came through the door. No one ever ate Jennie’s cooking that didn’t want more. She cherished the times she could be with her family and enjoy good food and company. She was a meat wrapper for many years and retired from Albertsons.
Jennie is survived by daughter Christine (Michael) Smith and son Richard (Marla) Diaz, grandchildren, Chad, Curt, Michelle, Julie, Marissa and Bradley, and 16 great grandchildren who called her Gigi, siblings Rita Pineda, Theresa (Michael) Woods and Joe (Donna) Gama.
Services to be held Thursday December 29 at Imperial Memorial Gardens, 5450 Highway 78 West, Pueblo, Colorado. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. in the chapel with Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. followed by Graveside services at Noon.
