Janet Mae Sanchez

Janet Mae Sanchez, 75, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away May 26, 2021. She was born February 28, 1946 in Pueblo, Colorado to William and Dacy (Queen) Benjamin. She was raised in Pueblo. On May 21, 1966 she married Frederick P. Sanchez Sr. of Pueblo. They divorced in 1976 and she moved to Thornton, Colorado. In 2017 she moved back to Pueblo. In her free time, she loved crafting, attending Rockies baseball games, gardening, and spending time with her six grandchildren. She loved listening to Elvis and Patsy Cline. She is survived by her children Frederick Paul (Sheri) Sanchez Jr. of Thornton Colorado, and Albert Mark (Olivia) Sanchez of Pueblo Colorado; grandchildren Camie Marie (Andrew) O’Connor, Joseph Mark Sanchez, Rachel Elizabeth (Davis) Gunderson, Erin Alicia Sanchez, Austin Mark Sanchez, Aspen Renea Sanchez; she’s also survived by her siblings William Benjamin Jr., Margaret Fulton, Howard Stroh Jr., Deborah Thomas, Virgil Watts Jr., April Hernandez, and Jimmy Watts. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Sandra Stroh and Larry Stroh. Memorial service will be held at Imperial Funeral Home Saturday, July 10, 2021, 10 AM. The family invites you to wear Rockies or casual attire. An outdoor reception will follow the memorial service with details to be announced at the memorial.
