Gary L Griffin, 81, passed away January 27, 2023. Gary is survived by his wife of 52 years Barbara, children Loye (Doug) Wright of Pueblo, Darryl (Christy) Griffin of Missouri, Bobbi (Darrell) Schrag of Kansas, Michele Pool of Pueblo, James Griffin of Missouri, and Cheri (Chris) Gott. Sibling Daniel (Patty) Griffin of Pueblo, Kenneth (Sharon) Griffin of Pueblo, and Charlene (Lloyd) Hall of Pueblo; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son William Scott Griffin, and parents Elmo Everett Griffin and Evelyn Ann Griffin (Watson). Gary served 4 years in the U.S. Navy followed by 36 ½ years serving Pueblo as a police officer for the Pueblo Police Department, he enjoyed riding and was part of the Blue Knights motorcycle club, was an avid elk hunter and enjoyed working as a security guard for the Colorado State Fair. There will be a Memorial Service held Friday February 10, 2023 at 1pm at Imperial Funeral Home. Reception to follow after service at the IBEW Local 12 located at 2901 Farabaugh Ln. Pueblo, CO 81005
