Dolores Lenora Boyd

Dolores Lenora (Titus) Boyd, 93, passed away unexpectedly August 14, 2022 in Canon City, Co. Dolores was happy and healthy at the time of her passing. She was born November 6, 1928 to Willis Columbus and Nellie Lenore Titus in Avondale, Co. She graduated from Pueblo Centennial High School in 1946. Dolores married John (Jones) Boyd on January 4, 1947 and had 68 wonderful years before his death in 2015. She retired as a bookkeeper from Meadow Gold Dairy in 1985 with 25 years of service. After retirement John and Dolores moved from Pueblo to Canon City and became snowbirds to Apache Jct, AZ. She was predeceased by siblings Mike and Arnold Titus, Mildred Bron and Mabel Rainer. Dolores is survived by children Dan (Janet) Boyd of Pueblo, Lorelli ( Doug) Hackler of Boise, ID, and Sandy Jackson of Brookings, SD; five granddaughters Janie Boyd ( Gene Kokayako), Julie Troutt, Alecia (Mike) Burgard, Niki ( Kyle) Maughan, Stephanie ( Danny) Hackler; five great-grandchildren, Theron Troutt, Titus Lowry, Kate & Emily Burgard and Lilly Browning. Services will be held August 22, 2022 at T.G. McCarthy Funeral Home, 329 Goodnight Ave, Pueblo, CO at 10am. Interment will be immediately following the service at Mountain View Cemetery.
