

Charles Edward Wallace, 87, passed away peacefully July 1, 2013 following a long battle with emphysema and COPD. Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Wilga; daughters, Karen Wallace, Pueblo and Sharon (Ray) Stark, Denver, CO; grandson, Raven Smith, Monument, CO; sister-in-law, Inga (George) Wilson and family, nieces and nephews, all from Sydney, Australia. Charles graduated from Centennial High School then served as a Merchant Marine from December 7, 1941-August 15, 1945. He married Wilga, October 4, 1947 in Sydney, Australia and later moved to Pueblo. Charles attended Lynn Gardens Southern Baptist where he was a Deacon and taught Sunday school classes to both adults and youth and was also a guest Pastor at several churches. Among his hobbies he loved water skiing with his family and taught many other youngsters to ski and he loved wood working. At his request no viewing.
