Charles Wayne Hetherington resident of Rye, Colorado passed away from natural causes on April 24, 2019 at the age of 69. He was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on August 1, 1949 to Charles David Hetherington of Pueblo, Colorado and Mary Jo Ramsey Papke of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. He was married to Doris Hetherington, Lincoln City, Oregon, later divorced. Wayne and Doris had 1 daughter, Jennifer Marie. Wayne lived in Oregon, South Carolina, and Colorado where he did work as a surveyor and construction worker. He was also a skilled leather worker and artist. He was preceded in death by both parents and his daughter, Jenny.
Wayne is survived by his step-mother Dorothy Hetherington, Pueblo, Colorado, a sister, Charlotte Dunlay (Jarry), Garland, Kansas, and 3 brothers, John Hetherington, Pueblo, Colorado, Keith Hetherington (Terri), Colorado Springs, Colorado and Aaron Papke (Shawna), Hotchkiss, Colorado, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Wayne will be cremated and the family will celebrate his life privately, no public service is planned.
