Brett Alexander YARBERRY, age 23, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away on Wednesday March 25, 2020. Brett was born January 6, 1997. He is survived by parents Bob and Janelle Yarberry; sister: Janie Hernandez (JJ); Nephew: Aries (Buddy) Hernandez; maternal Grandmother Diana Troute; paternal Grandparents David and Gaynee Yarberry; maternal Aunt Jody Duren (Robert); paternal Uncle Scott Yarberry (Jo Anna); paternal Uncle Ken Yarberry (Catherine); and by several cousins. Brett graduated from East High School in 2015 and was active in Cross Country and Track. He also excelled in Math and Gym classes. Brett also attended New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology from 2015 til 2018 studying Electrical Engineering and attended Colorado State University, Pueblo, the fall semester 2018 studying mechatronics. He was employed at the South Side Walmart from November 2019 til his passing.
Brett loved playing with his nephew Buddy! He also was a Rubik's cube master and an avid bowler. He started on Bowlero youth bowling at the age of 5 most recently bowling on the Monday Madness Bowling League. He was an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America (Troop 30) and a Brotherhood member in the Tupwee lodge in the Order of the Arrow. Brett was an active life long member of First Presbyterian Church of Pueblo and in their Chancel Ringers Bell Choir. In high school he played electric bass in the Jesus Jammers youth band. Brett was a member of the technology team of the church that runs sound and computer systems and worked with the Access Worship as technology guy. He enjoyed playing various Roll Playing Games at Chaos entertainment.
Brett was a long term shavee in St Baldricks. He has received the title of Sir Brett Yarberry Knight Commander.
