Yvonne A. (Phalen) Ramirez, 43, passed away October 15, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved fiancé of Kenny Catteau. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Jill R. Hernandez and the late Francisco Vasconcelos.
Yvonne was the loving mother of Jazlyn Ramirez, Jazmin Ramirez and Eloy Ramirez; beloved sister of Ermalinda Farmer; grandmother of Doniel Ramirez; step-mother of 4; step-grandmother of 13. She also leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving grandparents Raymond L. and Gladys D. Conlon. Yvonne was a phlebotomist, also working as a CNA and home health aide. She was caring, loving and kind to her family, friends and all her patients.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 28th from 2-4 p.m. followed by a service at 4 p.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Yvonne loved the color purple, so the family requests that everyone wear purple in tribute to Yvonne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of RI, 2346 Post Road, # 202, Warwick, RI 02886.
