Wakefield William J. Parker, 51, of Atlantic Street, died Saturday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Dawn M. (Steiner) Parker. Born in Providence, he was a son of Mary A. "Marion" (Gillis) Parker of Warwick, and the late Richard M. Parker. William worked most recently as a loan officer for Amerifi Loan Company for several months. He served his country proudly in the United States Army. Beside his wife, and mother, he leaves a son, Jonathan R. Parker; a brother, Richard Parker; a sister, Kathleen Parker; and a niece, Megan L. Parker. He was predeceased by a brother, John W. Parker. Visiting hours will be held Thursday evening, from 6 - 8 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road (Rt117) Warwick, to which relatives and friends are invited. The funeral service and burial will be private.
