Victor M. Pacheco, 86 of 776 Plainfield Street, Providence passed away January 24, 2012 in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Emerita (Perez) Pacheco.
Born in Corozal, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Secundino “Don Cundo” and Saturnina (Carrasco) Pacheco.
Mr. Pacheco was a shear operator for many years before retiring. He was also a Veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1952.
He was the father of Victor, Jr., Jacob, Orlando, Adalia and Benjamin Pacheco; grandfather of 6 and brother to 15 siblings.
His funeral will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 9:00 AM from the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston with Military Honors to immediately follow. Burial Ceremony will take place Monday, January 30, 2012 in the R.I.
