Thomas J. Moran

Cranston Thomas J. Moran, 78, of Cranston, died peacefully Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at the Scandinavian Home. He was the beloved husband of Mary A. (McGovern) Moran for the past fifty-eight years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Thomas P. and Katherine E. (Harrington) Moran. Tom was an honorable veteran of the United States Air Force, and was a sales representative for Procter & Gamble for over twenty-eight years before retiring. He was a 1968 graduate of Bryant University. He was the devoted dad of four sons, Thomas J. (Paulette), James M., Timothy J. (Shannon), and Michael T. (Maryellen); a sister, Margaret Acciola, and proud grandpa of twelve loving grandchildren, Thomas, Kevin, Kristin, Payton, Grayson, Larkin, Rees, Quinn, Camden, Aiden, Shawn and Keegan. The funeral and visitation will be held Friday morning, from 8:15 - 9:15 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial, with military honors, will be in Saint Ann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 in his memory will be appreciated.
