Ruth B. Tancredi

She was the daughter of the late Mary (Travers) Boyajian and step daughter to the late Leo Boyajian.

She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur Tancredi.

Devoted mother to Valerie McAuslin and her late husband, Ronald, as well as Vanessa Tancredi and her late companion, James Brown.

Cherished grandmother of Ashley Kestler and her husband Adam. Great-grandmother to Austin Kestler.

Sister of the late, Everett Mathews.

Ruth graduated from cosmetology school and worked as a hairdresser before she went on to expand her career as a dedicated caregiver at the OES home in Warwick, RI working as a nursing assistant. She loved music, especially big band swing and worked alongside her husband in his music business. She found joy in ballroom dancing, crafting, sewing, knitting and interior decorating. Her dedication to her family and creativity were one of a kind. She was a loving wife, mother, and dedicated grandmother. She was a devout Catholic who gave her life to God. She was adored and loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Friday, October 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
