Rose was born in Providence and lived her entire life in the city. She traveled abroad in her 20s and thoroughly enjoyed her early career at City Hall Hardware before starting a family and working alongside her husband at the company he founded, Standard Offset Printers.
A strong, bold and loving woman with a heart of gold, Rose always spoke her mind and struck up conversations with everyone around her. She played the piano beautifully and was a very skilled knitter. She had an endearing sense of humor and an unwavering faith.
Rose was a pillar at the Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Apostolic church and deeply cherished this community throughout her life. In her later years, Rose spent a lot of time swimming at the North Providence pool and was able to make many treasured friendships there.
Rose’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her son, Ron Semerjian & wife Ruthie, daughter Doreen Ahigian & husband Jim, six grandchildren: Deanna, JJ & Derin Ahigian and Zachary, Zander & Simone Semerjian, nieces & nephews, and all those who loved her.
The service will be held at Sts. Sahag & Mesrob Armenian Church on Saturday, 11/18, with visitation at 9am followed by services at 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations to weareayo.org are greatly appreciated.
