Rose Ann Ricci, 82, a lifelong resident of Johnston passed away February 22, 2013. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Bertha (Conti) Ricci.
Rose worked as a bookkeeper for Sammartino Jewelers and L Russo Trucking. She also enjoyed traveling.
Rose was the dear sister of Alphonse “Al” Ricci of Cranston and the late Elizabeth Volpe and the cherished aunt of Barbara Roach, Joseph Roach and the late Bettyann Volpe.
Her funeral with visitation will be held Tuesday from 9:30 am – 10:30 am in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in St. Rocco’s Church, Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial to follow in St. Ann’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose’s memory to Heritage Hills Nursing Center; Attn: Activities, 80 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917.
