Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Veronica (Cooney) Isabella.
He was the father of Stacy A. Isabella and her wife Ann Marie Corona and the late Robert R. Isabella, Jr.. He was also the brother of Elaine (Isabella) Mariniello.
Bob was employed by National Plumbing for 5 years as a counter manager and then he worked for Sydney Supply and Bell Simons as a manager for 39 years before retiring. He served in the National Guard for 3 years, was a member of the Sons of Italy and was an avid New York Yankee and New England Patriot fan. He loved playing cards and enjoyed watching car racing.
Bob cherished spending time with his family and was a true gentleman to everyone.
The family would like to thank Dr. Yul Ejnes and his kind staff: Drs. Ibrahim Salloum, Chandler George and Sarah Zainelabdin. Also , thanks to Miriam Hospital nurses and CNA’s who took great care of Bob while he was in the hospital. St. Elizabeth’s Home Care and Hope Hospice for their compassionate care.
Most of all to Bob’s wonderful friends; Steven Mancino who we could count on at anytime, Gail Mancino, the cookie lady, Bob Parker the grass man and Paul Catanzaro our T-man and Vinnie Baccari the snowman. Carol Iadimarco his drinking partner who he loved to tease and David Ciancio, his longtime childhood friend…
My Easter Egg Hunts and all the wonderful kids my wife cared for.
If I were here, I would say, “What A Lucky Man I was” to have great loving parents and a wonderful sister.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will be private.
