Richard Paul Williams, of North Providence, RI and formerly of Roslindale, MA passed away at home surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren on January 7, 2024 at the age of 78. He was the beloved husband of Joanne (Zambarano) Williams.
Born in Boston, MA he was a son of the late Thomas and Doris (Eskett) Williams.
He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War on the USS Waldron.
He was the loving father of Michael P. Williams and Jennifer L.Williams, both of North Providence; cherished grandfather of Matthew, Brooke, Michael, Rylan, and Julian; and brother of Thomas Williams of Osterville, MA. He was predeceased by his siblings Dorothy Corrigan and Dennis Williams.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m in the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be private.
