Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Racofsky) Rebeiro.
Raymond was employed by the Dept. of Elderly Affairs for the State of RI, where he enjoyed helping others in every way he could until his retirement in August 2010. He was always a bright light that shone on all he came in contact with. Ray leaves a legacy of kindness, always positive and loving, he brought joy and “happy dust” wherever he went.
Ray was a loving and devoted brother, uncle and son. He was the beloved brother of Elizabeth A. Demers and her husband George, and Robert V. Rebeiro. He was the devoted uncle of Melissa A. Colton and her husband Brian; and the cherished great-uncle of Jackson and Aidan Colton. He was the brother of the late Joseph F. Rebeiro.
Visitation, Sunday 3-6 p.m. His funeral will be on Monday at 8:45 a.m. in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at www.jdrf.org/donate
