Born in Lucca, Italy, he was a son of the late Pio and Elidia (Batulli) Bachini.
After migrating to America in 1956, Olinto worked at Newman Crosby Steel for 23 years. He then became a Union Laborer (Local 271) for 15 years before retiring.
Olinto’s heart was his family. He was the most kindest, loyal and loving man. Olinto’s greatest title was “Nonno”, which he was called by all.
His passion was making wine every October and he loved to pick mushrooms particularly Senoritas.
Olinto spent most of his time in the kitchen, as he was the family chef. He loved to teach and share recipes with his kids and grandchildren.
He was the loving father of Alan Bachini Sr. (Susan) and Lisa Adamczyk (Joseph); brother of Dino Bachini (Donna) and the late Filomena Bachini; cherished grandfather of Alan Bachini Jr., Michael Bachini, Grace Adamczyk and Joseph Adamczyk; and great-grandfather of Elidia Bachini, Mateo Bachini, and Alaia Bachini. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
His visitation will be held Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 9:00-10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 1081 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
