Mary-Ann was an amazing wife, doting mother, meme to her grandchildren, and friend to all who were fortunate to have her in their lives. Mary-Ann’s smile lit up a room and her kindness and compassion touched many lives. From a phone call checking in on a friend to bags of groceries left at a doorstep, Mary-Ann was the ultimate caregiver.
She was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Americo and Anna (Marzilli) Amore. Mary-Ann leaves behind her husband, William "Bill" Quattrochi whom she adored. She was also the wife of the late Eugene "Gene" Abbruzzese and the best mother to her three girls, Stella Moran of Lincoln, Joan Moran-Izzo and husband, Robert Izzo of Cranston, and daughter Dr. Audra Moran of Atlanta, Georgia. She also leaves behind her two precious grandchildren, Tessa and Ella Izzo.
Mary-Ann was a proud Saint Mary Academy, Bay View graduate. She spent her career in health care management receiving her Administrator’s license from the University of Rhode Island. She devoted over 30 years to caring for the sick and elderly as the owner of a nursing facility in North Smithfield, Rhode Island. Mary-Ann loved an adventure and anything that had to do with travel and cooking for her family and friends. From Sunday dinners to holidays, her table was always full of food and love.
