Karen Marie Corrao, 42, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Cranston, RI on December 9, 2018. She was the beloved daughter of Sharon (Gannon) DiPippo, and her husband Valentino, of Cranston, RI and Albert Corrao, and his wife Linda, of North Port, FL.
Karen was the devoted sister and friend to James Corrao, and his wife Diane, of Burrillville, RI and Donna Corrao of Smithfield, RI. She was a loving and "fun Auntie" to Jack Corrao and Jenna Corrao who were a cherished part of her heart and soul.
Karen had a selfless, giving spirit and we were all blessed to have had her touch our lives. She made many special connections with people throughout her life including her adored cousins; Kayla Gannon, Brenden Gannon, Kylie Gannon, Shaun Gannon, Kyle Gannon and her love, Jon Desmarais.
Employed by Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence, Karen was a fierce competitor who enjoyed playing pokeno, charades and Call of Duty Black Ops. She was also fearless and would relish the challenge of any amusement park ride, arcade gaming center, or zombie encounter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. in the Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. Please omit flowers.
