Providence Joseph J. Kaminski, Jr., 82, of Canton Street, died unexpectedly Friday evening at home. He was the husband of Margaret M. (Woods) Kaminski. They were married for fifty-one years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph J. Kaminski, Sr. and Lena (Dickervitz) Kaminski. Joseph was a union truck driver for Superior Trucking for many years and later was a bus driver for the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority before retiring. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 251, the American Legion Post, Smith Hill, and the Wanskuck Post # 56, Veazie Street. He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War.In addition to his wife Margaret, he leaves two daughters, Paula M. Iannucci and Denice A. Vigeant and her husband James; a son, Robert J. Kaminski; five grandchildren and two great-grandsons. He was predeceased by his son, Joseph J. Kaminski and his brother, Raymond Kaminski. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 10:00 am, in the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith Street, Providence. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Monday, 4 - 7 pm.
