John E. Luciani Jr.

John E. Luciani Jr., 78, passed away June 6, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Dolores M. (Baldissare) Luciani. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late John E. Sr. and Cecelia (Fitzgerald) Luciani. He was the father of John P. Luciani and his wife Carlene, Andrea M. Hagopian and her husband Michael, Joyce A. Mucci and her husband James, Patricia A. Iwuc and her husband Christopher, JoAnn M. Lombardi and her husband Robert, and Gina M. Barbato and her husband Robert; step-father of Deborah and Robin Mancini; grandfather of 18; brother of Freddy Luciani, Sylvia Luciani R.S.M., and Maria Jacobs.

He had served in the U.S. Navy, was an avid golfer and card player and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Visitation and funeral Friday, 9-10:30 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Entombment with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Edward Food & Wellness Center, 1001 Branch Avenue, Providence, RI 02904.
