Joan I. DiDonato

Joan I. (Poli) DiDonato, 83, of Harrison Street, Johnston, passed away on June 28, 2019 surrounded by her loving family in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. She was the wife of 59 years to Mario DiDonato.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Edith (Sepe) Poli.

Joannie was the dear mother of Mario DiDonato, Jr. and Monica DiDonato; cherished grandmother of Jessica, James, Alexa, Benjamin and Brooke and adored great grandmother of John and Olivia. She was also the sister of Louis Poli and his wife Ann and Barbara Zanni and her late husband Chick.

Her visitation and funeral will be held Friday, July 5, 2019 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM from ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, 15 George Waterman Road, Johnston. Burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
