Jeannie DiGiovanni

Born in Providence, was the daughter of the late Domenic and Angelina (DeAngelis) DiFormato.

Jeannie was the mother of John DiGiovanni, Sr.; grandmother of Natasha, Jason and John DiGiovanni, Jr. and great grandmother of Trinity, Jason, Jr., Kingston, Heaven and Angelo. She was also the sister of the late Stella LaJoie, Rose Dutra and Peter, Florindo and Emilio DiFormato.

Visitation and funeral will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020 in the Pontarelli-Marino Funeral Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence at 10:00 AM followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM. Social distancing, masks, and occupancy restrictions will be observed where no more than 15 people at a time will be permitted. Burial to follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeannie’s memory to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
