Irene L. (Nameika) Chamberlain, 88, of Madison Street, Providence passed away on January 13, 2022 in the HopeHospice Hulitar Center.
Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanota (Grygielewicz) Nameika.
Irene was the mother of David, Mark, Daniel, Herbert, Jr., Michael, Judy, Barbara, Cynthia and the late Richard; step mother of Sandy and Russell; grandmother of 9 and great grandmother to many. She was also the sister of the late Joseph Nameika, Amelia Verrochio and Mary Sepe.
Her visitation will be held Thursday from 12:00PM to 2:00PM in the ROMANO FUNERAL HOME, 627 Union Avenue, Providence followed by a service in the funeral home at 2:00PM. Masks and social distancing are recommended. Private cremation will follow.
