Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Earl Lavalle and Ruth Rita ( Nasso ) Slater.
Gloria was a forewomen with Speidel in Providence for many years until her retirement.
Gloria is survived by her sister Patricia Marcello and her husband Edward.
Four nephews and niece, Ronald Letourneau, Tammy (Letourneau) Pinheiro and her husband Joseph, Joseph Letourneau and his wife Lisa and Russell Letourneau.
Seven great nieces and nephews, Kristina, Joseph, Nicole, Jenna, Logan, Lily and Max.
Three great great nieces and nephew, Jaiden, Aria and Blake.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 27 at 10:00 am in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Rd Warwick, RI. 02886. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
