Dolores Parrillo

A lifelong resident of Johnston, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Concetta (LaFazia) Ferrante.

Dolores was one of the original crossing guards for the Town of Johnston for many years. Before retiring, she transferred to the Johnston High School’s Library Department as an aide.

She enjoyed playing tennis, volleyball and softball. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren, great granddaughter and her nieces and nephews.

She was the loving mother of Lori Sackal and Eric Parrillo and his wife Lisa and cherished grandmother of Jennifer, David and Aryanna Sackal and Eric and Ryan Parrillo and great grandmother of Addyson Sackal. She was also the sister of Annette Barber and her husband Ed of Warren and the late Vincent and Michael Ferrante.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00 AM in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Graveside burial to follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
