Charles R. Maloney

Warwick Charles R. Maloney, 79, of Cedar Pond Drive, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at Cedar Crest Nursing Centre, Cranston. He was the husband of Joan A. (Eastham) Maloney. They were married for the past fifty years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Thomas J. and Gertrude (Roe) Maloney. Mr. Maloney worked for the Narragansett Electric Company for fifteen years, retiring in 1997, and previously worked at the Narragansett Brewing Company for twenty five years. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during the Korean War. Besides his wife Joan, he leaves three sons, Thomas C. Maloney, Patrick M. Maloney and his wife Kerri, and Brian J. Maloney and his wife Gina; seven loving grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren, Kathryn, Jenna, Allison, Olivia and Kyle; a sister, Rita Somers; and a brother, Robert Maloney. He was a brother of the late Thomas Maloney, Gertrude Baynes and Elizabeth Roposa. The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 9:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Avenue, Warwick.
