Beverly J. Brothers

Providence-Brothers, Beverly J.(Reynolds), 68, of Modena Avenue Providence died Friday surrounded by her loving family at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center after a one month illness. She is the beloved wife of Gerald V. Brothers, Providence Firefighter (Retired). Born in Providence, a daughter of the late Patrick J. and Nora Theresa (Ahern) Reynolds. She was a transcriptist for Medical Transcript Services of North Providence for 15 years before retiring in 1995. She was a communicant of Saint Augustine Church, Providence, and was a member of the former Saint Patrick High School Alumni Association. She was a life long Providence resident. Beverly is survived by her four devoted sons, Kevin P. Brothers, Edward M. Brothers, both of Providence, Timothy J. Brothers of Cumberland and Michael J. Brothers, Patrolman Providence Police Department of Smithfield, and three grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Marilyn A. Boule and her late twin brother, Bernard J. Reynolds. Beverly's funeral will be held Tuesday morning at 8:45 am from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home 331 Smith Street Providence. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Augustine Church Mount Pleasant Avenue at 10:00 am. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 pm. Burial will be in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, Rhode Island.
