Betty Lou A. Bernardo, 66, passed away July 26, 2011.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Louise (Carlone) Gemma; wife of James Bernardo for 45 years; mother of James B. Bernardo, Claudia L. Almonte and husband John; grandmother of 5; sister of John Gemma, Joanne Fiyod and the late Edith Reall.
Visitation will be held Thursday, 4-8 p.m. with a funeral on Friday at 9 a.m. from the PONTARELLI-MARINO Home, 971 Branch Avenue, Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Pius V Church, Eaton Street, Providence, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
