Amadeo P. Santa Ines

WarwickAmadeo P. Santa Ines, 68, of Michelle Circle, died Saturday at the Saint Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. He was the devoted husband of Casimira C. (Carlos) Sta Ines, M.D. They were married for nearly forty-two years. Born in Gapan, Philippines, a son of the late David and Generosa (Parcutela) Sta Ines, he lived in Warwick for the past eighteen years, previously living in North Providence. Mr. Santa Ines was an accountant for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island for sixteen years, retiring in 1995. He also had worked for Cambridge City Hospital in Massachusetts for several years as an accountant. He was a 1961 graduate of Far Eastern University, with a B.S. Degree in Science and Commerce, and a Major in Accounting. Amadeo was a voracious reader, loved to watch sports, especially professional golf, enjoyed his many trips to Las Vegas, and loved to be around his family and many friends. He was a communicant of Saint Gregory the Great Church. Besides his wife Casimira, he leaves his two sons, Anthony C. Santa Ines, and his wife, Marion, of North Attleboro, Massachusetts, Mark C. Santa Ines, M.D, and his wife, Lata Gupta, M.D., of Kenosha, Wisconsin; two brothers, Carlos Santa Ines, M.D. of Sayre, Pennsylvania, David Santa Ines, Jr., of Gapan, Philippines; and three loving grandchildren, Lauren, Ryan, and Lara. The funeral will be held Tuesday, at 8:45 am, from the Russell J. Boyle & Son Funeral Home, 142 Centerville Road, (Rt.117) Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Gregory the Great Church, 360 Cowesett Road, Warwick. Visiting hours Monday evening 5 - 8 pm.
