Lex, saying goodbye to you today was one of the most heartbreaking things I've had to endure. I will always hold the fond memories and wonderful friendship we have shared throughout the years close in my heart. As the world lost a great human, heaven's gates welcomed back one of its angels. Alexis was a great person-he was admired by many of us because of his unconditional love, compassionate nature, and kind heart. He had one of the biggest hearts, and I always admired that about him. He made many of us very happy with his comical disposition.

 One of his favorite movies was Desperado with Antonio Banderas. He confessed that he loved the melancholy guitar introduction and it made him want to learn how to play the guitar and drive around in a motorcycle- he admitted he wanted to grow a ponytail to channel his inner mariachi.  Sure enough years later he had that ponytail, and every time I saw him he was riding around-I always mentioned that night to him because it's one of my fondest memories. Thank you for the wonderful memories friend, I will hold them dear to my heart.

Thank you Blanca for raising such a wonderful son whose presence emitted love and light. 
I pray that God comforts us during these hard times.

We cannot put into words the pain we all feel loosing such a wonderful brother-in-law, uncle, son, friend and the kindest, sweetest man I know!
