Ricky E Hopkins

Born January 13, 1957 in Gilbert, WV, he was the son of the late Elliott Hopkins and Daisy Mullins Hopkins. He was a self-employed contractor.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by half-sister Debbie Belcher. He will be sadly missed by son Ricky Hopkins of Bluefield, WV; step-son Steven Blankenship; daughter Vanessa Hopson and husband Shane of Roderfield, WV; former wife and mother of his children Carnetta Hopkins; granddaughter Chelsea Hopkins; brother Wendell Hopkins of Princeton, WV; half-brother Richard Smith of Gilbert, WV; two sisters, Mary Farley of Richmond, VA and Barbara Roman of Martinsburg, WV.

In keeping with his wishes, he was cremated. A memorial service for Ricky will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at the home of son Ricky Hopkins, 3914 Airport Road, Bluefield, WV at 2:00 p.m.
