Lynne was predeceased by her son, Robert Gordon Foulis, who left this world far too soon in August of 2004.
Throughout her life, Lynne was known for her kindness and generosity. She often found joy in the music of Fleetwood Mac, the Eagles, Rod Stewart, and the Beatles. She also enjoyed her time reading, playing cards, doing puzzles, and watching movies. Lynne embraced many passions throughout her life, some of which included canning, crochet, cycling, and camping. She had a profound love for her cherished border collie, "Bear," who was her faithful companion for many years in Sarnia.
Professionally, Lynne worked as a bartender for most of her life and later ventured into circulation distribution, telemarketing, and retail. Her warm spirit extended beyond her work, as she stood at the Christmas kettles with The Salvation Army, reflecting her caring nature.
Despite struggling with Alzheimer’s, Lynne's spirit remained determined. She longed to return to her favourite place in the world, “home” to Sarnia. Her final resting place will be with her beloved son in Lakeview Cemetery in Sarnia, ON. Lynne will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.
In honour of Lynne's memory, the family requests that donations be made to The Salvation Army and the Alzheimer’s Society.
