Julieann was born in Terrace, British Columbia. to proud parents, Dave Keehn and Ona Keehn (Toth). Jewels attended elementary school in Telkwa, British Columbia before the family moved to Stewart, British Columbia. After graduation, Jewels became a paramedic for a brief time before moving to Alberta where she made her roots and started her own family. Julieann was involved in the annual Demolition Derby for many years. She also had the gift to make fine quilts. Julieann then moved back to British Columbia where she lived in Smithers since 2020, then Houston, British Columbia for the last year where she fed the ducks and deers on Sundays. Julieann was known for her contagious smile and her love of animals.
Julieann leaves behind her loving daughters, Brooke and Autumn, who she adored and loved very much. She also leaves behind her brothers, Lloyd (Jody), Allen, and Rodney (Shanan) along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, a nephew, nieces, great nieces and nephews, and all 'who loved her'.
Julieann was predeceased by both her parents Dave and Ona along with a great niece and nephew. And her favorite Aunty Cathy (Toth).
Jewels will be greatly missed by all who loved her and the hearts she touched!
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who stayed by her side with her brief illness, especially Sanatana Foster.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers we are asking anyone to donate to your local animal shelter on behalf of Julieann Keehn.
