Josh's smile and laugh, love of family, his teasing ways, and his warm hugs are going to be our most treasured memories of Josh. He cherished spending time with his family, and would go to most all of the family reunions just to see everyone all at once. He was the life of the party and everyone was always happy to see him!
Josh spent his childhood years in Mackenzie, McLeod Lake (with his beloved grandpa), and Prince George. Later on, he lived in Williams Lake, Calgary, Chase, and Salmon Arm, before moving to Didsbury and then to Drayton Valley, AB to be with his younger sister. Josh moved to Chetwynd in January, where he stayed at his aunt's place, to work for Duz Cho in Tumbler Ridge at Quintet Mines. It would become his most loved job, and where he made even more friends!
Josh never met anyone he didn't like, and everyone who met him, even if they didn't want to, ended up a friend. Our son had a heart of gold, and was always there to lend a hand, whether to his family, friends, or his work.
He loved to read anything and everything, but mostly sci-fi, and he also loved to game. He actually started a gaming group a while back, that is still going strong to this day, with players from all over the world that fast became a family. One of his friends from that game told me that Josh didn't really go on to play, but to chat with everyone and see how they were all doing. He also loved to play crib and other games with the family or friends at any given time.
Mac, Josh's dog, was raised on the White Lake family farm, from the time he was a pup until they sold, and Josh took Mac with him to live in Salmon Arm. The two became inseparable, and Mac was always at Josh's side, or in the passenger seat of the pickup.
Josh and Mac leave behind his beloved parents Nancy (Collins-McGuire) and Cliff Mueller, much loved brother Tyler Gauthier and fiancee, Danielle Cook (affectionately called lil sis), much loved sister Michelle (Missy/kid sis), brother Jon and family, sister Tanya, brother Jason and wife Rebekka, his aunt Lynn, his much loved niece Everly Gauthier and nephew to debut in September (Josh was so excited to meet him!), nephew Jaxton Davies, and many, many relatives and friends to carry on his legacy of love and life. We have huge boots to fill.
Love you our son, brother, and friend.
He was predeceased by his much loved grandparents George McGuire (July 18, 2005) and Teresa Collins (December 27, 2001).
