Jackie grew up in Burnaby with her parents and two younger brothers. Her fondest memories of her youth were her family camping trips, meeting new friends, waterskiing and boating with her dad.
Jackie moved to Prince George in 1965. She met her first husband, Stafford Johnson, and married him in 1966. She instantly became a mother of four children, Vernon, Darren, Casey and Dahlene, whom she loved and raised as her own. She gave birth to a little girl, Deanna, a year later. Jackie worked at numerous jobs during this time which was challenging while raising five kids but she seemed to do it with ease and grace. She was a natural mother and extremely devoted to the family.
In 1984, Jackie met her life partner, Neil Moser. She gained three more children, Deanna #2, Kyle and Kaitlyn, and the adventure began. She and Neil owned and operated Lakeside Resort & Attic Pub at Cluculz Lake and Birch Bay Resort at Francois Lake. They worked long, intense days days together which only made their relationship stronger. They were a team in love and life.
Jackie touched many people’s lives, she had tender loving heart and cared for all she met. She was always ready to sit, have a cup of tea and talk. She loved her family fiercely and was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, auntie and friend. Jackie was an angel. She is gone but will always be with us, watching, listening and loving with all her heart ❤️
Jackie is survived by, her husband, Neil Moser, seven children, thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and her brothers and their families.
