Dorothy Sue Hill, 84, of Prattville, AL, went to be with the Lord Wednesday May 2, 2018. She was born May 28, 1933 in Jasper, AL. She was preceded in death by; her parents, Virgil and Eula Mae Stephenson, of Jasper, AL and her sister, Doris Guthrie, Marietta, GA.
Sue was a long-time resident of Pensacola, Florida where she was a hairdresser for 43 years. She retired in 2011 and moved to Alabama to be near her children.
Dorothy Sue Hill is survived by her sons, Robert Steven Hill(Kathi) of Prattville, AL, Gary Lynn Hill(Mi Suk) of Kimberly, AL and her daughter, Kathy Hill Coy(Mark) of Albertville, AL; eight grandchildren: Jonathan Hill(Sandy), Christopher Hill(Betty), Haley Coy, Angela Hill, Burton Yeargan(Heather), Laura Bohannon(Brad), Kathryn Cooper(Brad), and Stephanie Hill; eight great-grandchildren; Tristen and Aiden Hill, Brodie, Charles and Jackson Hill, Adrian and James Yeargan, and John Hollis Cooper.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Jon Hill, Tristen and Aiden Hill, Chris Hill, Burton Yeargan, Brad Bohannon, and Brad Cooper.
Visitation is from 5:30pm-7:00pm on Friday, May 4, 2018 at Ridout's Prattville Chapel in Prattville, AL. The graveside service will follow at 1:00pm on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Walker Memory Gardens, Jasper, AL officiated by Mark Coy and David Guthrie.
