Mrs. Davean Rawlinson, 83, a lifelong Prattville resident, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday September 3, 2017. Visitation was at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 6th, at Ridout’s Prattville Chapel, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jack Jackson officiating. Burial followed in Durden Cemetery.
Mrs. Rawlinson was born on March 20, 1934 in Prattville to the late Neal Fuller and Decie Hunt Fuller. Mrs. Rawlinson was retired from Gurney Mills with 43 years of service. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Rawlinson; three sisters, Georgia Cook, Katie Barber and Recie Mae Dennis.
She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Rita and Thomas Carter; a son and daughter in law, Eddie and Diane Fleming; five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and close friends.
