Clarence Davis, 70, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away July 17, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Annie Davis. He is survived by his daughters, Leslie Stonestreet (Todd) and Julia Hollon; grandchildren, Alicia Dunn and Andrew Dennis; siblings, Toni Byrd (Max), Rebecca Lucy (Victor), David Davis (Ida) and Linda Davis.
Mr. Davis was a veteran of the US Army and was truck driver. Mr. Davis was driving down highway 82 W in Prattville, Alabama and he witnessed an oncoming log truck that was about to hit a school bus loaded with children. Mr. Davis made the valiant decision to go off the road to keep the log truck from hitting the school bus. It was on that day that Mr. Davis showed he cared more for others than he did for himself. He was truly a brave man on that day and the school children were so thankful for what he did, they came to visit him in the hospital.
