Vincent F. Cooley Jr.

Vincent F. Cooley Jr., age 76 of Potsdam, NY passed away Monday morning, August 5, 2024 at the North Country Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Massena, NY. A Graveside Service will be held Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11:30AM at Bayside Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Garner Funeral Service.

Vincent was born February 9, 1948 in New York City to the late Vincent F. and Frances C. (Forster) Cooley Sr. He graduated in 1967 from high school in New York City. After high school, Vincent graduated from Paul Smith’s College. Vincent worked as a Night Auditor for the Holiday Inn in Lake Placid. He worked building maintenance for many years at the Potsdam Synagogue. Vincent was talented and creative in landscaping and gardening and contributed to the gardens of many local Potsdam residences.

Vincent is survived by his good friend, Brenda Yarcag of Canton, NY; a half-sister, Eileen Horning of Corvallis, OR; cousins, John Forster of Black Rock, CT, Kathryn McFarland of Sachse, TX, Greg Ross of Lake Mary, FL, and Melanie O'Connell of Painesville, OH. He was predeceased by his parents, Vincent F. and Frances C. Cooley Sr.
