On July 25, 1960, Judy was born in Potsdam, a daughter of Leland Farnsworth and Rose Williams. She attended high school at Madrid-Waddington before graduating from Massena Central in 1978.
She spent most of her career working in Massena's medical network, most notably as the office manager for Dr. Edward Burke. She also spent a brief period working as a deputy sheriff for St. Lawrence County. Judy was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in Massena, as well as a long-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary at Amvets Post No. 4 in Massena. Judy was a fiercely loyal New York Yankees fan, and loved the music of the Eagles with an equal amount of obsession. She loved spending time with her Shelties by her side. Judy was never more than a few moments away from cracking a joke. This was especially true during the most trying times in her life.
She is survived by her two sons, Jason Sosville of Douglasville, GA and Jeremy Sosville of Cupertino, CA, two longtime step-daughters, Melissa and Marlene Huddleston, both of Massena, two sisters, Debbie Farnsworth of Massena and Suzanne Carew of Trafford, PA, her brother Lenny Farnsworth of Massena, her father Leland Farnsworth of Brasher Falls, her grandson Nathan Sosville, and her beloved uncle Danny Farnsworth of Massena.
She was predeceased by her mother, Rose Williams, and her sister, Cindy Jackson.
Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to St. Vincent de Paul Society of Massena, NY.
As per Judy's wishes, there will be no public arrangements. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family by visiting the website of Garner Funeral Service @www.garnerfh.com.
