William Harold Lobdell was born November 18, 1924 in Grenora, North Dakota to William Harold Sr. and Violet Lobdell. He graduated from Grenora High School and went on to Pacific Bible College (now Warner Pacific).
William was a pastor of the Church of God in Anderson, Indiana and later in Montana.
William exchanged wedding vows with Eileen Clingman on August 14, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio. The couple had four children, Becky, Harold, Tim and Crystal. They were also blessed with four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
William passed away August 8, 2014 in Portland, Oregon. He will be remembered for his dedication to the Salvation Army, for which he rang the bell for donations during the holidays for many years. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sisters, Arlene and Mildred.
William was very loved by his church family.
