She was 7th daughter of a famous Landowner in South Vietnam, Mr. Ly Thanh Lieng and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lien. She graduated with a degree at a French school. She was talented in singing and playing piano, mandolin and guitar.
In 1949, she married her late husband, Mr. Hung Le, an Army officer; and they had 10 children, 27 grandchildren. They currently live in Portland, Oregon.
She is survived by:
