Sami Bechara Khouri was born in Nablus, Palestine on June 15, 1932 to parents Bechara N. and Zakeya (Tarazi) Khouri.
Sami traveled extensively with his loving wife and family during his career as an insurance underwriter. Survivors include his wife Helene Sami Khouri; daughters Noha Kassab, Suzan Khouri, Souha Khouri, and Rola Khouri; son Rami Khouri; and 10 grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will take place on Friday, February 11, 2011, 11:30 am in St George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2101 Northeast 162nd Avenue, Portland, OR.
