He was a beloved father and husband, a Sergeant in US army C Battery 1st Battalion 92nd Artillery serving in Vietnam, a firefighter for the Portland Fire Bureau Engine 4 & 49, owner of R&J Motors, and a sprint car driver.
He leaves behind a grateful family: Rendy, Heather, Liam, Erin, Stephen, Preston, Ross, Debbie, Glenn, Abby, Jamie, Lindsay, Brandon, Baby Logan, Rachael, Natalie, Justin, Traci, Alina, Andrew, Alyssa.
