Judy was an amazing woman full of life, energy, and determination. There seemed to be no obstacle that could stand in her way. Judy could easily wear many hats. She made operating her own company Montgomery Park Travel appear effortless. As a business woman she was computer savvy, competent, persuasive, organized, dependable and as a result very successful. Her long list of faithful clientele included many businesses, corporations, group tours, including philanthropic organizations as well as individuals who all sang her praises.
Outside of her business world she could run circles around Martha Stewart in her home. It was no secret at least among her immediate family that when preparing her delectable gourmet meals her kitchen was in lock down! There would be no trespassers near her perfectly rising homemade rolls and sweet jam. No assistance was needed when creating her famous breakfast strata always served with fresh mimosa in chilled crystal glass wear. Anyone who has ever dined at Judy’s table knew to expect a gala event. She creatively decked out her dining table to compliment every holiday with flair. The holidays for Judy were her crown and joy. Also worth mentioning, was her dedication to keep a perfectly lovely, very comfy and clean home.
Judy was a stylish woman, she had an eye for just about every shoe known to woman kind! She dressed to the nines including her hair and nails. If she couldn’t find the right dress, no problem! She would just design one and sew it herself. At any event Judy sparkled from head to toe.
Judy also enjoyed spending time with her hubby and many friends by RV-ing around the countryside. Camping trips to the coast, mountains and more was a refreshing escape in their beloved RV named “Thor”.
Judy’s life took a turn in 1997 when she was struck with a brain aneurysm and miraculously survived! With Tom at her side giving loving care, she bravely pressed on through many years of therapy and treatments, always keeping the faith. On August 21st 2012 Judy overcame her final obstacle, by trading up her temporal for her eternal body. She had fought the good fight, she had finished the course, she had won her race. (2 Timothy 4:7)
Our friends, we want you to know the truth about those who have died, so that you will not be sad, as are those who have no hope. 14 We believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will take back with Jesus those who have died believing in him. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 Good News Translation)
