Davis, Judith Ann 63 Jan. 16, 1948 March 31, 2011 Judy was born in Portland to Anna Belle and Dr. Esley Davis, the second of five children. Always a bundle of energy, Judy started dancing at age 3 and enjoyed tap, hula, ballroom and country. She attended Faubion Grade and Grant High schools. Her musical talents landed her a spot on the New Oregon Singers, touring Oregon and Hawaii. Judy worked for 50 years, starting at 13 as a chair-side assistant for her dad in his dental office. She married Kenneth C. Phillips in 1966 and they had two children, Troy M. and Traci M. Phillips. Judy was a member of the Mallory Avenue Christian Church and Chapter DB for the P.E.O. Sisterhood. Judy is survived by her mother and stepfather, Dr. James Tallman; fianc‚, Steve Bailey; her children; grandchildren, Mike and Katie Largent and Blake Phillips; daughter-in-law, Kathy Phillips and her children, Geoffrey, Alexus and Andrew Richards; siblings, Mike Davis (Nancy), Jan Jacobsen (Peter), Norman Davis and Jill Lebas (Marc); many cousins, nieces and nephews. Judy's spirit will sustain us as we remember her fun-loving and energetic personality. She did things "her way." Memorial service 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011, in the chapel at Skyline Memorial Gardens, 4101 N.W. Skyline Blvd., Portland. Judy requested no flowers.
