Janet Kristine was born in Dallas, Oregon to James Smith and Marciel Stinnette Smith on August 28, 1946. She met her husband, Alvin, in high school and were married shortly after her graduation. They had one son, Jason, and later one grandson, Dylan.
Janet loved animals! Everyone who knew her knew she loved all kinds of animals. She was a true good Samaritan, taking in not only animals in need of help or a home, but also people who were in need. She was generous and kind-hearted. She was an amazing artist by profession and in her own time. She appreciated beautiful artwork as well as nature’s beauty.
Janet is survived by her son, Jason; grandson, Dylan; sister, Karen; brother, Pat; and so many other family members, both natural and adopted by spirit, and many, many friends.
