Geraldine was nicknamed Dot by her family in Idaho growing up. She served in the Navy as a Wave during World War II.
Mom enjoyed her flower garden; she spent many hours in the garden bird watching as well. She was a wonderful oil painter for many years. Those of us fortunate enough to have some of her paintings will cherish them always. Mom was a wonderful mother, wife, sister and friend and homemaker. Taking care of her family was her top priority. Taking care of the elderly was important to her during her working career.
Geraldine is survived by her Husband William Jackson White. They were married for 61 years. They had 5 children, Elizabeth James, Robert White, Craig White, Virginia White-Martin and Barbara Kortright. They had 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Geraldine also has 2 surviving brothers Dick and Bob Howard.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 1:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
